GENERAL PURPOSE SCREW REFILL BOX (JOB-BASED CONSUMABLE)

This general purpose screw refill box is an internally managed consumables item used to ensure accurate recovery of fixing costs on a per-job basis. Supplied as a mixed-format screw organiser, it is allocated to individual jobs and recharged accordingly, rather than treated as a general overhead.

The box contains a range of commonly used wood and construction screws, suitable for roofing, carpentry, battening, decking, trims and general site fixing tasks. The contents are refilled by site teams from centrally stocked screws, which are purchased on a monthly procurement cycle.

Each job should be allocated circa £54.00 of screws, allowing fixings to be transparently costed, controlled and reconciled without erosion of margin. This approach prevents under-recovery of consumable costs and ensures fixings are correctly attributed to individual projects.

The organiser format allows quick identification of screw sizes on site, reduces waste, and supports consistent stock control across multiple crews and jobs.
