These Impact wood screws 5.0 × 50mm are heavy-duty, zinc & yellow passivated structural screws, supplied in a robust site tub containing approximately 1,600 screws, complete with driver bits included for immediate site use.
Designed specifically for use with impact drivers, these screws feature a Type 17 point for rapid start, a ribbed double countersunk head for a clean flush finish, and a part-threaded shank to eliminate timber jacking when pulling materials together. The milling shank assists clearance through the first fixing layer, improving clamp force and installation speed.
Manufactured for structural timber applications and compliant with EN 10083-2 / EN 14592, they are ideal for roofing carpentry, battens, plywood decking, trimmers, studwork and general construction detailing. This size is particularly suited to thicker timber sections and multi-layer build-ups.
