IKO EasySeal Bitumen Vapour Control Layer Self Adhesive – 1m x 15m Roll

The IKO Easyseal Bitumen Vapour Control Layer (VCL) is a self-adhesive membrane designed to control the passage of warm, moisture-laden air from the internal environment into flat roof and warm roof constructions. Installed on the warm side of the insulation, it plays a critical role in reducing the risk of interstitial condensation and protecting roof build-ups from long-term moisture damage.

Suitable for use in warm flat roofs, metal decks and timber deck constructions, this bitumen vapour control layerprovides a reliable air and vapour barrier when correctly detailed at laps, upstands and penetrations. The self-adhesive backing allows for fast, consistent installation, reducing reliance on mechanical fixings and minimising air leakage pathways.

Manufactured with a robust bitumen compound and reinforced carrier, the membrane offers excellent durability and compatibility with a wide range of flat roofing systems. It is commonly used beneath insulation boards as part of a fully bonded or mechanically fixed roof specification.
